Terms & Conditions

Please read these carefully and if you have any questions, contact us prior to making a booking or purchasing an item.


We operate a 24 hour notice reschedule/cancellation policy. If you are unable to attend your appointment or wish to reschedule, you must contact The Edge Health and Beauty Centre Ltd directly by phone or by email at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time. Please Contact 01453 844653 or email info@theedgeonline.biz. If you fail to give 24 hours cancellation notice you will be charged 50% of the treatment cost that would have been payable.

Our Right to Cancel

If a therapist is not available to carry out your treatment/s through circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to transfer the booking to an alternative therapist. In unusual circumstances, we may need to cancel your booking.   In the event that we cannot fulfil your appointment, we will contact you by telephone – where possible.

Here at The Edge we strive to offer the best treatments possible however if we do not perform treatments or services to your standards please contact the salon within in 3 working days of your treatment for the salon to be able to assist any of your concerns, if the salon is closed please leave a message or email us and we will contact you as soon as possible.

Our prices are subject to change without notice.

We reserve the right to change the nature of any treatments, courses or package.

Refunds and Exchanges

Products must be returned unused, unopened with their seal intact and in the same condition as they were originally purchased from The Edge. We will not accept, exchange or refund any item which has been used or is not in the exact condition in which it was purchased from us. This does not affect your statutory rights.

If you have made a payment via our booking online system and wish to cancel it please contact us by phone or email.  We will either refund you within 7 working days or give you the option to transfer the payment to another date.  Please note if you have cancelled your appointment within the 24 hour cancellation policy we will only refund you 50% of the amount that would have been payable.

Tinting Services

A patch test must be carried out at least 48 hours prior to your treatment. Anyone who has not had a treatment within the last 12 months must repeat the patch test before his or her treatment. HD Brow treatments require the patch test to be carried out every 6 months.

Pregnant women are unable to have any treatments which require a patch test. We are unable to carry out certain treatments in the first trimester of pregnancy. Please call the salon and speak with the reception staff for further help, information and treatment suitability.

To gain the best results from our treatments please follow our aftercare advice.

Arriving for your Treatment

Out of consideration for other clients, clients who are more than 15 minutes late for an appointment may have to reschedule and will incur a charge, or will have their appointment time reduced but will still be charged full appointment time.

Please arrive for your appointment ten minutes early if you have not completed a consultation form or are having a treatment you have not had before with us.

In an effort to maintain a calm, peaceful environment for all our clients, we kindly request that all mobile phones are switched off or silenced during your visit to our salon.


All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied/supervised by an appropriate adult.

Gift Vouchers

Gift Vouchers and pre-payment credit must be redeemed within 12 months of the date of purchase, failure to do so will render the gift voucher and credit invalid.

Gift vouchers are non-refundable. There is no cash alternative.

Gift voucher value can only be redeemed once.

If you partially use a gift voucher, the remaining value will stay valid until the expiry date shown on the voucher.

We are unable to extend the date on gift vouchers

Just a few extra notes for your visit:

  • More details on treatments and directions to the salon can be found on our website, www.theedgeonline.biz
  • Please ensure that you update your therapist with any changes to medical history, medication, product use (including retinol’s, AHA, BHA and Vitamin C) or circumstance that may impact your treatment outcome.
  • If you are having a pedicure, please remember your open toed shoes.
  • Our therapists are still happy to wear a face mask during your treatment should that make you more comfortable, just ask the receptionist.
  • Payments can be made via cash, card or gift voucher in salon, however, unfortunately gift vouchers can not be redeemed for treatments with self employed therapists.
